Parkes International Country Comfort Motel Newell Highway, Parkes (Ph: 02 6862 5222) Light finger food and tab at bar will be provided. Following the reception, registrants and partners are welcome to book their own dinner in the restaurant. The Parkes International Motel is on the Newell Highway (Clarinda St) on the northern side of Parkes. The Bushman, Spanish Lantern and North Parkes Motels are nearby on the same road, Clarinda Street and are less than a 5 minute walk from the International. Hamilton's Henry Parkes Motel is in Welcome St in the centre of town, a 5 minute drive along Clarinda St (Newell Highway heading north to the Telescope and Dubbo).
