Extended S-Band (2000-3500MHz) Survey Spectrum Notes

The survey spectrum covering the band 2000-3400MHz shows very little RFI. Given that the survey was carried out with a spectrum analyser, and that the LNA used, only had modest gain (around 30dB), with post LNA gain of 18dB, the survey at best, only managed to pick out a few spurious signals.
There were some signatures around 2.49GHz, which is typically the frequency nominally associated with operating microwave ovens, seen in the view to the south east.
In the view to the west and north west, looking back at the main observatory, there were a few signatures, notably at 2647MHz, 2656MHz, and 2672MHz. These spurious signals are probably emissions from the telescope, and/or from the local environment, ie administration building, VC etc.
