L-Band (1362.5-1426.5MHz) Survey Spectrum Notes

The survey spectrum covering the band 1365.5-1426.5MHz shows very little RFI (as expected!!). Note that in a number of the views, the system is able to detect galactic hydrogen. The only RFI in evidence, are the frequencies associated with the observatory's hydrogen maser at 1400MHz, and the Multibeam sampler clock harmonic at 1408MHz, evident in the western view. The RFI monitoring tower is located to the east of the observatory, and hence, a view to the west is looking back at the telescope, noting that the view is partially blocked by the Kennedy 60' telescope.
