L-Band (1600-1700MHz) Survey

The OH Survey plots cover the band nominally associated with OH spectral line observing, with the H-OH receiver, 1600-1700MHz. The survey plots for the frequency range 1600-1700MHz, are displayed as 2 plots, each being 64MHz bandwidth centred at 1625MHz and 1675MHz respectively. Any RFI observed in each band, are displayed as a separate zoomed plot, after the 2 main survey plots. The correlator configuration of the IMS, for the spectral display, had 1024 channels, over the 64MHz, giving a spectral resolution of 62.5kHz per correlator bin. The LO for the lower spectrum plot was 1785MHz, whilst for the upper spectrum plot, the LO was set at 1835MHz. The spectral plots, generated using the Observatory's Interference Analysis program, INTER_HPF, are an average display, typically from an average of 50 integrations, each integration being of 5 seconds duration. In the spectrum plots detailed below, the scale on the Y-axis for the averaged flux in Jansky, should include a factor of 1E06, ie (MW/m^2/Hz).
